Visa Application Fee: Mandatory Payments

Enrolment reinstatement fee (after cancellation of enrolment) $250 AUD
Certificate re-issue fee $50 AUD
Late payment fee $50 AUD per week
Re-issue of Student ID Card $50 AUD

All fees listed may change from time to time. All students currently enrolled will be informed of any changes that may affect their current course fees.

There are 4 study periods of 10 weeks each within the 46 week course.

25 % of the course fees will need to be paid before issuing the CoE. GCA wants course fee payments in 4 quarter payments for a 12 month duration course were 1st quarter payment of course fees will need to be paid initially before issuing COE. The second third and 4th instalments will be collected at the end of 1st, 2nd and 3rd study period for each course.

SIT30816 – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and SIT40516-Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is an 18 month course and payments will be collected in 6 quarters were 1st quarter payment of course fees will need to be paid initially before issuing COE. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th instalments will be collected at the end of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th study period for each course. The initial fees will also include course fee and OSHC heath cover fees, Enrolment fee. Visa application and migration agent fees will be applicable if the student visa is proceeded within Australia. Other fees and charges which are optional are enclosed below.

Packaged Courses will be split over 8-12 payments over 2-3 years.
* Course Money may change during a student’s enrolment. At least 30 days’ notice will be provided to all students when Course Fees have changed.
* Please note that Course Money cannot be received from enrolling students until the signed letter of offer and acceptance has been received by the enrolling officer.

Where a student believes that they have grounds for a course fees refund, students should:

  • Submit a written request for course fees refund to the Overseas Contact Officer (OSCO).
  • State valid reasons for their course fees refund application.
  • Allow 28 days for the refund application to be processed by GCA Management.
  • GCA has a Refund and Cancellation Policy which ensures Compliance with the refund process.

When receiving a written refund application, the Overseas Contact Officer (OSCO) shall:

  • Present the application to GCA management
  • Provide to the student in writing the resulting decision of GCA’s management and how any refund of course fees will be calculated.
  • Advise the student of their right to appeal the decision of GCA management.

(GCA maintains a complaints and appeals process in compliance with the Refund and Cancellation Policy within GCA)

This agreement, and the availability of complaints and appeals processes, does not remove the right of the student to take action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.
