This course is an intermediate course for students who have developed a survival level of English, literacy or numeracy skills and who have had some formal or informal exposure to English. The course is primarily for newly arrived overseas students who need to develop English language skills to participate in a range of community and work contexts and/or further learning. You will learn speaking, listening, reading and writing skills for everyday living, for work and for further study. Our English language courses are designed to develop the language and literacy skills of culturally and linguistically diverse learners. They develop the skills of learning, speaking, listening, reading and writing so that students can undertake further education and training, seek and maintain employment and participate in the general community.
Learning includes training in a classroom and learning at home.
